What I've built, and how

tiny-redis

EXPERIMENT · 2026

Minimal Redis-compatible server built from scratch — RESP2 protocol, thread-safe storage, AOF persistence.

  • Go
  • TCP
  • RESP2
  • Concurrency
  • Hand-rolled the RESP2 wire protocol over raw TCP — frame bytes, dispatch commands, serialize responses, no client library.
  • One goroutine per connection against a sync.RWMutex-guarded in-memory store — reads share the lock, writes serialize.
  • AOF persistence: every mutating command appended to a log and replayed on boot — the write-ahead log idea, from scratch.
  • Validated against real redis-cli — watching a production client parse a hand-rolled protocol is the ultimate test.

ghstats

LIVE · 2026

Fast, lightweight GitHub statistics CLI — profile, repo, contribution, and activity analytics from the terminal.

  • Go
  • GitHub API
  • GitHub analytics from the terminal — profile, repository, and contribution stats with zero configuration.
  • Single static binary built in Go: no runtime deps, fast cold start, easy install via go install.
  • Worked against GitHub's REST + GraphQL APIs, handling pagination and rate limits gracefully.

Malware Image Classification

LIVE · 2025

Deep-learning malware family classifier using a custom CNN — 24 families, 30,290 balanced samples.

  • Python
  • PyTorch
  • NumPy
  • Streamlit
  • Custom CNN trained on 30,290 balanced samples across 24 malware families.
  • Built the full pipeline: malware-to-image conversion, class balancing, augmentation, and evaluation.
  • Deployed as an interactive Streamlit web app for hands-on classification.

Jedi

LIVE · 2026

Full-stack job application tracker — JWT auth, status pipeline, and PostgreSQL persistence.

  • Next.js
  • TypeScript
  • Tailwind CSS
  • PostgreSQL
  • Prisma
  • JWT
  • Full-stack job application tracker with JWT-based authentication and role-aware routes.
  • Status pipeline for applications — applied → interview → offer, driven by PostgreSQL + Prisma.
  • Server-rendered Next.js front end deployed on Vercel with a managed Postgres backend.
